Slag steel silo, also called slag storage tank, is specially used to store slag. A slag storage tank and a slag discharge system include a main body that stores slag, and a plurality of filters that are arranged on a wall surface of the main body and cause a liquid to selectively pass therethrough. The filters are disposed in at least a part of any cross-section perpendicular to the vertical direction of a region where the slag is stored in the main body. Accordingly, there is an effect that the slag storage tank capable of stably discharging the liquid and the slag discharge system capable of further simply and appropriately discharging the slag may be provided.

The bottom of slag steel silo can be divided into different types: Conical hopper bottom and flat hopper bottom. The conical hopper bottom silo capacity always be small, the capacity of silo is no more than 2000 tons. The steel silo would be built up with corollary equipments, such as vibrator on silo hopper, aeration box on silo hopper, to ensure the slag powder discharge smoothly. The flat bottom silo should be invert cone inside the silo bottom, and the function is to reduce the pressure when discharging slag powder from the center of silo top. For this type, the inverted cone can avoid the slag powder flow down to the aeration box directly. The aeration box is to make the slag powder discharge smoothly.
Slag Steel Silo Construction
- Find the center and circumference of a circle line
- Set up the forming machine and bending machine
- Set up the frame and the supporting frame in the horizontal direction
- Put the coil into the forming machine
- With the bending machine bending bite into the spiral rib 5 times the thickness of the silo body.
- When the silo height volume to 2m, use automatic cutting machine cut silo body top in horizontal.
- Production and installation of silo roof.
- Use bending and forming machine make silo to the silo height
- According to the requirements of the drawings of reinforcing ribs, weld it in the inner wall of silo. (This step is constructing at the same time of step 8)
- Use the cutting machine to cut the silo body bottom plate in the horizontal direction.
- Reverse rotation silo to silo foundation plate, fall to the embedded steel part.
- Connect the reinforcing rib and the embedded part, rooting.
Slag is the glass-like by-product residual after a required metal has been separated from its raw ore.
